In a world marked by conflict and tensions, the pursuit of peace is a pressing imperative that requires commitment, knowledge, and skilled practitioners.

CCCPA is introducing two rounds of an immersive foundational training course on Conflict Resolution, Mediation, and Peacebuilding, to be held in January 2024, and designed for Egyptian professionals to equip them with essential skills, tools and insights into the policy and practice of conflict resolution.

It will be followed by a training of trainers (ToT) on peace and security, open to qualified participants upon their successful completion of the foundational training round, which aims to build capacities and expand the roster of Egyptian trainers working within this field.

This unique opportunity is tailor-made for individuals who are passionate about global peace and security issues. In this regard, we are delighted to extend an invitation to Egyptian nationals who are keen to deepen their knowledge on conflict resolution and peacebuilding topics (subject to meeting the below requirements).

The program seeks to provide an overview on the fundamentals of peacebuilding with a keen focus on conflict resolution, mediation and a dedicated focus on employing a gender lens—a pivotal aspect of fostering sustainable and inclusive peace.

The training not only addresses the nuances of conflicts but also emphasizes the universal applicability of conflict resolution skills as a cornerstone for effective collaboration and decision-making in diverse professional settings.

Participants will engage in simulations to acquire practical knowledge of negotiation and mediation techniques and tactics. The training manual used is meticulously designed to empower individuals with the skills needed to navigate the complexities of conflict resolution, including fostering a deeper understanding of the gender dynamics inherent in peacebuilding efforts.
